Rep. Fahrbach is one of 8 people using shovels to ceremoniously break ground.
Rep. Fahrbach (third from left) participates in the July 22, 2006 groundbreaking ceremony for the new Suffield Volunteer Ambulance headquarters on Bridge Street.  Rep. Fahrbach helped secure a $500,000 Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant for the 8,900-square foot facility, which will help improve public safety for the Suffield community.

The Govenor proclaimed June 10, 2006 Alex's Lemonade Stand day in Connecticut. Judy Scott is the Grandmother of Alexandra Flynn Scott who initiated Alex's Lemonade Stand to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Rep. Fahrbach and others dig inRep. Ruth Fahrbach participates in a groundbreaking at East Granby Farms.  This is East Granby's newest and largest recreational and open space area which will provide athletic fields, nature and hiking trails and multi-use buildings for a variety of town activities.

State Rep. Ruth Fahrbach, R-61, (third from right), State Rep. Penny Bacchiochi, R-52, and Bacchiochi's son, Nick Nikolov, toured the State Armory in Hartford on Wednesday, February 22. During the tour, the Connecticut National Guard - 14th Civil Support Team -- stationed in Windsor Locks, gave a Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) briefing on the new WMD response capability available to respond to a potential domestic chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incident.

On the same visit, Rep. Fahrbach takes an interest in the HAPSITE Chemical Identification System, the only portable gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) designed for specific complex types of chemical detection.
