Rep. Cafero reviews information on legislation with a staff member during the
September 20,2007 Special Session.

Rep. Cafero speaks at the press conference called by Republican House and Senate Leaders to request that the Democratic leadership convene a special session of the General Assembly by October 23, 2007. this special session would allow for the strengthening of Connecticut's persistent offender laws and enact a true Three Strikes policy in our state. This request follows the Tuesday CT State Supreme Court ruling that found part of our current presistent offender law to be unconstitutional.
