Representative Klarides to Appear at Turkey Hill School in Orange for Celebration of Reading

DERBY- State Representative Themis Klarides will participate in a celebration of reading at the Turkey Hill School at 441 Turkey Hill Road in Orange on Tuesday, April 3^rd, at 9:00 a.m.

The activities are a part of “Connecticut Loves to Read Day,” which is dedicated to demonstrating to school children the importance of reading.  Representative Klarides will give a brief presentation to students on the significance of reading in their lives, and then read a short story.  The event coincides with the birthday of children’s author Dr. Seuss. 

Representative Klarides is scheduled to read to students in the 5^th grade.
