Rep. John Piscopo: Bond Commission approves $100,000 for Burlington firehouse improvements |

At its regular meeting today, the state bond commission approved a grant of $100,000 for the town of Burlington for firehouse improvements. The grant was advocated for in part by state Rep. John Piscopo (R-Thomaston).
“Both the firefighters and residents of Burlington will be well served by the improvements that will be made with the help of this grant from the state,” said Rep. Piscopo. “The safety and well-being of the town’s residents should always be paramount when bonding is approved. I’d like to thank the Governor and the commission for the approval they granted today.”
Rep. Piscopo represents the 76th District, made up of Burlington, Harwinton, Litchfield and Thomaston, in the state House of Representatives.
