REP. STRIPP COMPILES PERFECT VOTING RECORD IN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

HARTFORD – State Representative John E. Stripp (R-Weston) is pleased to report a 100-percent voting record for the 2008 legislative session. Rep. Stripp recorded his vote on behalf of the 135th District on all of the 300 roll call votes called in the House of Representatives this year.

“It is important for anyone who represents the people of this state that he or she is there to vote on all of the various issues that come before the House,” said Rep. Stripp. “The House had 300 roll call votes during this session and I was there to vote on them all. I am proud of that fact, and I feel it’s important that all my constituents know I was there for every vote. People have a right to know how I voted and the right to expect that I will make every effort to be there.”

In addition to the regular legislative session, the vote tally includes votes from the June 11 special session, and the June 23 veto session.

Rep. John E. Stripp represents Easton, Redding and Weston in the General Assembly.
